		<description>No real affect in terms of being detrimental to your workouts... 

I just personally find that if you want to build muscle, the majority of your workouts should contain compound moves rather than isolation exercises as it creates more testosteron and therefore quicker muscle building results! I also find i strip fat faster this way as well.
