Nike Air Zoom Trail Running shoes

Wow - I’ve spotted these little corkers on the website and they look great - can’t wait to see them in the flesh and maybe give them a try.
Only reason I’m excited by them is that I used to use Nike’s Tupu trail shoes which I thought were brilliant and could never understand why they dropped them. These look like a new version of the Tupu but even lower and leaner.
If they work like they look I reckon they’ll sell very well…..

I have a pair of these and can say they are very good, extremely light (only about 315g for a UK10) well cushioned and offer enough grip for most trails. It seems the mainstream mufacturers (Nike, Adidas etc) are taking the trails shoe market seriously to compete with the likes of Inov-8, Soloman etc rather than just sticking a grippier sole on a road shoe.

I have just recently purchased a pair of these and although i have only run one training session, I have to say I was very pleased, especially considering the relatively cheap price tag. I took them for a test drive over the south downs where i live which covers all sorts of terrain and they performed well. Im planning to do the 3 Peaks Challenge in them,…….will they hold up!?!? We’ll have to wait and see.
