Hi James,
Been following your blog for a few days now (very good btw) and had a couple of questions.
I enjoy exercise and the gym myself but i’ll be the first to admit that im not as serious as you, so my questions are
What got you into gym work in the first place? Was it somply a way of getting exercise? and why the gym over any other form of keeping fit?
Cheers,
shaun

Hi Shaun, thanks for following my blog. My reasons for getting into the gym in the first place is pretty simple to be honest. All through my life i was always really skinny and had the micky taken about of me constantly since being a toddler basically. Obviously after a while this got really tiresome and i got the feeling poeple didn’t take me seriously because i was so slim.
Because of this all i ever wanted was to be a seen as really muscly. This did happen after a fews years of serious dedication but then a weird thing happened and one day someone commented that i was absolutely massive ( usually this kind of comment would have made me smile ), however this then got me worried that i stood out too much and i had a vision of myself as one of those huge bodybuilders that people say look ridiculous.
This then changed my view on what i wanted my body shape to be. Now i’m after that athletic, model muscly look. It’s proving harder to get then when i got massive! Nutrition plays a big part nowadays, more so then before as before it was all about getting as much carbs and protein down me as possible, but now i have to watch my carb intake.. AND I LOVE MY CARBS!
Anyway Shaun, i hope you carry on following my blog and discussing any points you may want to raise. Cheers for looking
James
